If you’ve stepped into the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce over the past three decades, chances are you were greeted by Terri Bolin. Known for her warmth, professionalism, and unwavering dedication, Terri welcomed every visitor with a smile and helped set the tone for the Chamber experience.

Terri began her Chamber journey on April 25, 1988, starting part-time as a young mom selling rodeo tickets in the lobby of the Chamber’s former 901 Riverside location. She also pitched in by helping answer phones at the front desk. She was later hired under then-CEO Glen West, and quickly became an indispensable member of the Chamber family.

Terri often shared that her work never felt like a job. She thrived on connecting with people, turning challenges into positive experiences, and creating a welcoming environment for everyone who walked through the Chamber doors.

Family has always been central to Terri’s life: she is a proud mother of two children, grandmother to five grandchildren, and shares a warm partnership with her talented husband, Dale. The Chamber staff also always enjoys when her son Dustin brings his turkey and brisket every Thanksgiving. Anyone who knows Terri also knows the love she has for her family dog, Levi Strause Bolin.

A lifelong Longhorn fan thanks to her father, a proud UT alumnus, Terri could always be counted on to wear burnt orange on Fridays ahead of game day.

As Terri retires, she looks forward to spending more time with her family and enjoying a little extra sleep. Her legacy of kindness, professionalism, and dedication will long be remembered by all who had the privilege of working alongside her.
